RIK CURRIER PITCHING LESSONS

"Our son started working with Rik shortly before his Freshman tryouts at Capo High School. Before we started working with Rick, we had seen a few coaches and had played on a variety of travel teams to help prepare our son for the most competitive baseball program in South Orange County. We believe the individual coaching our son gets from Rick was instrumental  in helping him making the team.

If your son is planing on playing any type of competitive baseball program and wants to pitch, Rik is your coach! He communicates very well with any age, is always on time and very professional. His background as a high school and collegiate player with all the accolades and his unique ability to coach kids makes him the perfect choice for any player wanting to improve their skills as a pitcher.

When you get to the High School level, its the practice you do on your own that can make a difference between watching the game and actually playing in it and Rick will definitely help you get on the field." 

Our goal is to help our son reach his dream of playing baseball at the college level and we don't think that is possible without Rik's coaching.

My son Wyatt has been working with coach Currier on his pitching mechanics and he has made tremendous strides in his pitchinig success.  My son's arm slot, balance and consistency have improved steadily since we began working with Rik.  My son's velocity (which was above average to begin with) and his ability to locate his pitches continue to improve under Rik's guidance.  Coach Currier does a tremendous job of helping the player get to a point where their mechanics are sound (protecting your player's arm from injury) and he ensures that their understanding of proper mechanics is solid as well; this gives your player the ability to self correct during a game if they start to struggle.  Additionally, Rik relates well with his students; talking with them in terms that they understand and in a VERY patient manner.  Finally, coach Currier teaches your pitcher the mental aspects of the game, helping them to learn how to pitch & not just throw and helping them understand how to handle adversity on the mound, while remaining composed.  If your player is looking to improve their pitching ability, I can't recommend Coach Currier highly enough.  He has been a tremendous asset to my son's pitching.
